The Mozz Editing Kit, previously called the Moses Editing Kit or Mo's Editing Kit (MEK), is an open source and cross-platform Python-based toolset which offers alternatives to and supplements the tools of the HEK and MCC mod tools.
Some key features of the MEK include:
- Supporting OpenSauce tags.
- Map deprotection.
- Exporting and importing tag blocks, saving time when copying data across tags.
- Tag extraction.
The MEK was originally a pre-MCC project only supporting Custom Edition, however it received renewed development in 2024 and 2025 to add features, fix old bugs, upgrade dependencies, and support MCC differences. Ensure you're using the latest test version (link may be outdated).
